I can custom make a special one of a kind ring just for you. You can choose from my large collection of one of a kind gemstones and choose your metal. I can give you a quote and show you stone options, no obligation. For a rough guide, in 9ct rose gold this ring would be around $680. Engagement rings are a very important decision and I want to ensure you are completely in love with your ring!
My mandala collection began with inspiration from Tibetan Buddhist Thanka paintings and the traditional motifs used to decorate Buddhist temples, particularly in Sri Lankan temples during my time living there. My starting point was lots of drawing and variations of the combinations and designs and sizes. I then handmade my favourites using individual pieces of wire, soldering every joint. For this mandala design, it is difficult using traditional methods so I designed the piece using a 3d design program, which then can be 3d printed in a special detailed wax. Once I was happy with the design I was then able to make a mould which could be used for lost wax casting. I then cut this mandala up to make new different pieces such as the fan petals for this ring. With the raw casting I have to hand saw, file and gently dome. Then I handmade a setting exact to the gemstone and a solid wire band. I have to solder all these pieces together, polish everything in all the details, set the stone and finish the piece. Each piece is inspected carefully by me to ensure a fine finish with no casting marks or flaws. They are all stamped with my unique hallmark, SB and metal purity.
The listing is for this exact piece, which is already finished and ready to ship.
